Labour companions in the spotlight: new Cochrane review weighs up the evidence

A new Cochrane review on labour companionship attracted plenty of media attention last month. Lead author Meghan Bohren highlighted the latest findings on the ways labour companions - including partners, family members, friends and doulas - improve outcomes for women and babies in The Conversation, Reuters, Medical Xpress, Evidently Cochrane, and the popular UK parenting site Mumsnet.
